Japanese Cryptic: What color do you like?

Cryptic Story

"Tell me, what color do you like?"
A little girl asked her neighbor.

The neighbor replied, "Blue, it is."

The next day the neighbor was found dead in the sea--death by drowning.

"Tell me, what color do you like?"
The little girl asked a girl.

"I like red."

The next day she was found dead in her room. Her room was sprayed red with her blood.

"Tell me, what color do you like?"
The little girl asked a boy.

 "I like brown."

The next day that boy was found dead. He was buried deep inside the ground.

"Tell me, what color do you like?"
The little girl asked my mom.

My mom replied, "Not any color in particular."

Next day, she died while gouging her eyes out.

During the funeral, I heard the women talking about the incident.

"So many unfortunate deaths have occurred recently~ "
"Now that you mention it, the other lady who died recently...her son hasn't been found yet."
"Hmmm..."

Ah! you talking about the kid who loved brown color? You women sure love gossiping.

The little girl asked the women, "What color do you like?"

"Sigh! Again?"
