Ghost Story
This incident happened with my mother when she was still a school student. During those days, she used to live with her grandfather.
Now, I should mention that my mother had experienced paranormal stuff quite a lot of time in her childhood days. Sometimes when she visited the graves, she felt that somebody pulled her. Other times, she experienced things like pulling of hair, weight on her chest etc.
My mother had a habit of running in the morning. Getting up 4 in the morning and then running for about 5 KMs was a daily routine for her.
One day, she woke up like always to go for running, but she found that it was raining outside. She thought about the situation for a minute and then decided to follow her routine and go for the running.
One the way, the rain subsided and the atmosphere became a little foggy. She came across a street intersection and stopped because of the red traffic signal. She was waiting for the signal to turn green, when saw a familiar person moving towards her.
She soon recognized that it was her grandfather, so she called out to him.
"Grandpa, are you going for a walk? That's something unusual for you."
The grandfather didn't reply with anything. My mother didn't think much about it and continued running and crossed the intersection.
After a few moments, she decided to turn back and look at the grandfather once again. When she looked back, she found that the grandfather's body didn't have a head.
She got really frightened by this and ran straight to the home. She got relieved when she saw her grandfather relaxing like always.
Since her heat was at ease now, she went to the school while wondering what she saw in the morning.
A few days later, her grandfather passed away in an accident. He died instantly due to a broken neck.
Perhaps, that day, her grandfather was trying to tell my mother about this accident.

Everyone thanks for waiting. Now, since my exams are over, I'm back with a new story and I'll keep on posting new things on a frequent basis.

I am scared when I was imagining the headless grandpa.
ReplyDeleteOn the top of that the streets were foggy like Silent Hill. Creepiness intensifies!
DeleteThe narrator's mother got lucky not to be sucked into "another world in red" though. I agree, headless things are scary. And gore at the same time.
DeleteBy the way, I feel sad remembering my deceased grandpa :(
I don't even have a grandpa.
ReplyDeleteEh that sad, I am very sorry :(
